Founder of the company, Johan is a seasoned entrepreneur and the visionary and driving force behind the robotic gaming concept. With a background in the information technology and consulting industries, Johan is responsible for directing a highly talented team of engineers, computer scientists and designers in the design and development of a range of robotic entertainment products. As entrepreneur, Johan was founder and CEO of a number of companies, including Computer Foundation (Pty) Ltd., sold to Denel Informatics (Pty) Ltd., and Automated Methods (Pty) Ltd., the company responsible for the development of the internationally successful ReGIS and The Ultimate CAD product lines. Automated Methods was subsequently sold to San Rafael-based Autodesk Inc.

As an industry veteran, Tom brings a distinguished track record in the entertainment and games publishing industry to Robonica, where his main contribution is strategic direction and industry relationships. Over his lifetime career in the game industry, Tom has worked at both Parker Brothers and Milton Bradley. In addition, Tom is the founder and former CEO of Hasbro Interactive, where he grew the company into a top-five game publisher with revenues in excess of $200M and a portfolio of number one games including Frogger and Rollercoaster Tycoon. While at Hasbro Interactive, Tom was responsible for the successful acquisition of major game publishing assets including Atari, Microprose and Wizards of the Coast.

Game DesignLarry, a Hall of Fame designer most famous for creating the board game Axis & Allies, is the expert advisor behind the social and entertaining form of gameplay that characterises robotic gaming. Apart from Axis & Allies and all its sequels, Larry has over 200 published games to his credit. His other significant games include Conquest of the Empire, Broadsides and Boarding Parties, LionHeart and more. He has also assisted in the further development of Trivial Pursuit and Risk. His career spans companies such as Milton Bradley, Mattel, Coleco Industries, Hasbro, Parker Brothers, Infogrames, Atari and his own company, Harris Game Design. Larry is probably one of the most acclaimed and experienced game designers working today.
